Quebec Studies Student Association of McGill University
Student Society of McGill University Ballroom
3600 rue McTavish, 3rd floor
January 12, 2018; 5-7pm
Do you see the light at the end of the tunnel? Exams will be over soon and many of us will be going home to visit family during the holidays. As we all know, January brings new classes, more snow, and more activities to get involved with! What better way to start the semester than to attend the newly founded Quebec Studies Student Association’s Kickoff Event?! The Event will take place from 5 to 7 pm in the SSMU Ballroom (3rd floor) on January 12.
The night will have contemporary issues in Quebec as a theme. To open up the evening, we will receive municipal and provincial leaders who will discuss causes that are important to them and current issues facing our greater Montreal community. Then, you will have a chance to meet and discuss with these influential activists, politicians, and community leaders.
The event is free but we suggest a donation of five dollars. We encourage you to confirm your attendance as soon as possible at this link: https://goo.gl/XPLfRR
This is a bilingual event: French and English presentations will be held. A small reception to follow.
Please join us for this very special event and encourage your friends to come along!
If you are interested in this event and would like to learn more about Quebec, our department also offers two QCST courses during the Winter 2018 semester. Please check us out! http://www.mcgill.ca/qcst/undergraduate-programs-courses#MINOR
