THREE Undergraduate Research Award Competitions open NOW

The Research Office is pleased to announce three Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRAs) competitions in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences for summer 2019:

1)  NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) - Deadline March 8

  • Value: $4,500 from NSERC + minimum of $1,125 from the supervisor
  • Duration: Summer project (May to August); 16 weeks on a full-time basis

to support undergraduate students in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who are participating in a summer research project under the supervision of a professor holding an NSERC grant

 

2)  Rudi Dallenbach Undergraduate Student Award – Deadline March 15

  • Value: $3,000 from Award + minimum $2,625 from the supervisor
  • Duration: Summer project (May to August); 16 weeks on a full time basis

to support one undergraduate student in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who is participating in a summer research project. Preference will be given to students pursuing research at the Macdonald Farm in the area of Plant Science, Animal Science, Bioresource Engineering, or Environmental Sciences.

 

3) Brown-Martlet Undergraduate Student Awards – Deadline March 15

  • Value: $2,500 from Award + minimum $3,125 from the supervisor
  • Duration: Summer project (May to August); 16 weeks on a full time basis

to support undergraduate students in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who are participating in a summer research project
