SSMU Know Your (Student) Rights Campaign

The Know Your Rights Campaign wants you to know that you have academic rights established by McGill to protect the quality of your degree and experiences on campus. Where University policy is obscure or confusing, you can also turn to the SSMU Student Rights website which summarizes McGill policies and provides steps you can take as a student to address violations!

Volunteer Mentorship Program

If you're looking for a volunteer opportunity working with kids, apply to be a mentor with Homework Zone! We work with the English Montreal School Board and the Lester B. Pearson School Board. McGill volunteers will mentor elementary school students by helping them with their homework and engaging them with fun activities and challenges! You’ll be working one on one with a student, for 3 hours a week (you pick the day!) including travel time.
